India said that it would move ahead by cooperating with the new government of Nepal.
During a press conference organized at the Ministry of External Affairs of India on Thursday, it was said that India is willing to work together with the new government of Nepal led by CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
Saying that Nepal and India have a unique relationship, Arindam Bagachi, spokesperson for India's Ministry of External Affairs, said that India is ready to move forward together with the new government to strengthen it.
“We hope to work together with the new government of Nepal to strengthen the unique relationship between the two countries,” he said, adding, “We have a people-to-people relationship and we will strengthen it together.”
Before the elections, India had said that it was ready to cooperate with the new government of Nepal, he recalled.
