Police have arrested Mahanta Jagannath Das of Matihani Temple on Sunday morning. He was apprehended on the charge of forgery. Das is accused of withdrawing Rs 6.6 million from a bank of Rupandehi by forging the signature of the deputy chief district officer of the District Administration Office.
