The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 4. 87 points to close at 1,933. 88 points on Tuesday. Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 1. 56 points to close at 378. 08 points. A total of 2,581,425 unit shares of 238 companies were traded for Rs 96 billion.

Meanwhile, Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the top gainer today with its price surging by 8. 17 percent. Likewise, NMB Limited was the top loser with its price dropped by 6. 07 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 2. 78 trillion.
