The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 24. 46 points to close at 1,938.76 points on Monday.
Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 5. 19 points to close at 379. 64 points.
A total of 4,127,286 units of the shares of 240 companies were traded for Rs 1. 67 billion.
Meanwhile, Sayapatri Hydropower Limited was the top gainer today with its price surging by 3. 12 percent. Likewise, Ajod Insurance Limited was the top loser with its price dropped by 7. 37 percent.
At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 2. 78 trillion.
