A person died in a motorbike accident in Bakaiya Rural Municipality-3 of Makwapur district on Tuesday. Police identified the deceased as bike rider Shyam Lama (30) of Shreepur, Bakaiya-5. The two-wheeler (Province-2 03018 PA 2557) was heading towards Shreepur from Hattisunde when the incident occurred at around 10 pm yesterday.

Lama was rushed to Churehill Hospital in Tahabharyang, Hetauda-11 for treatment but doctors pronounced him dead on arrival, DSP Tek Bahadur Karki of the District Police Office, Makwapur said.

Further investigation into the incident is underway, police said.
