Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Dr Toshima Karki has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Lalitpur-3. She defeated her nearest rival CPN-UML's Amrit Khadka by a huge margin of 18,163 votes. She got 31,136 votes while Khadka garnered 12,963.

Similarly, CPN (Maoist Center)’s Pampha Bhusal, also a sitting minister in the incumbent government, who contested from the ruling alliance, received 8,769 votes.
