Janamat Party Chairman CK Raut has won the election to the member of the House of Representatives from Saptari-2. He defeated Janata Samajbadi Party Chairman Upendra Yadav. Raut secured 35, 042 votes while Yadav garnered 16, 969 votes.

The Janamat Party Chairman won the election with a margin of 18, 063 votes.
