Police opened fire at the polling booth in Janata Higher Secondary School of Karjanha Municipality-6, Siraha on Sunday. Police fired three rounds of bullets into the air following an altercation between the cadres of Janata Samajbadi Party and CPN (Unified Socialist) this morning. DSP Subash Budhathoki of the District Police Office, Siraha said that they opened fire to take the situation under control.
