Nepali Congress candidate Umesh Shrestha’s vehicle has been vandalized in Chitwan on Wednesday. He is contesting the election for a seat in the House of Representatives from Chitwan constituency-2. The vehicle bearing the registration number Ba 3 Cha 2050 was vandalized at Red Cross Chowk near Old Medical College in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-19 during the election campaign.

Driver Jit Bahadur Rana said that a groups of five to six persons who came on motorbikes hurled stones at the vehicle.

DSP Narahari Adhiarki said that they are looking into the case.
