The Nepali Congress (NC) has made party general committee member Man Bahadur Limbu as the candidate of Province Assembly member from Morang constituency-3 (A). The party has given ticket to Limbu after Shekhar Chandra Thapa, candidate of this constituency, passed away on Wednesday. NC Morang Secretary Mod Raj Ghimire said that the party itself gave the ticket to Limbu to become a candidate for the Province Assembly member.

Ghimire said that Limbu is preparing to file candidacy at 1 pm today.

Limbu is the former president of the Nepali Student Union, Morang. The Election Commission said that the final list will be published on Friday after completing the process like filing complaints against the candidacy among others. Forest, Environment and Land Conservation Minister of Province 1 Thapa breathed his last during the course of treatment at the Nobel Hospital in Biratnagar yesterday. Later, the poll body took ahead the process of election after making public a new program. The voting will be held in the constituency on November 20 itself.
