The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 39. 15 points to close at 1,917.22 points on Wednesday. Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 7. 68 points to close at 376. 53 points. A total of 3,697,723 unit shares of 223 companies were traded for Rs 1. 40 billion.

Meanwhile, Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Company Limited was the top gainer today with its price surging by 7. 42 percent. Likewise, Excel Development Bank Limited was the top loser with its price dropped by 7. 95 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 2. 75 trillion.
