A chopper carrying CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal made an emergency landing in Salyan on Tuesday. The chopper, which had left for Surkhet this morning, made an emergency landing at Khalanga of Salyan due to bad weather, Dahal’s personal secretary Ramesh Malla said. He said that Dahal has headed towards Surkhet again with the improvement in weather.

The former prime minister had left for Surkhet to address election assemblies in various districts of Karnali Province.
