UML Chair Oli appeals to public to give his party a majority in upcoming elections

The main opposition CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has appealed to the public to give his party a majority in the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives and Province Assembly. He urged the public to make his party number one in the November 20 elections during a program organized in Kathmandu constituency-1 on Wednesday. Saying that the current government was formed through the mandamus order of the Supreme Court, Oli said that it is the reactionary forces who are accusing the UML of being reactionary.

He claimed that there will be no other national power other than the UML even after the elections.

The former prime minister said that the country will head towards uncertainty if other parties come to power other than the UML. He said that UML's manifesto is a document with guarantees of what it had done in the past and what it will do in the present. Leader Oli said that the UML should win the upcoming elections to protect sovereignty and to give peace and stability. Kiran Paudel and Ram Prasad Amagai have filed their candidacies for the elections to the House of Representatives and Province Assembly in Kathmandu-1.
