The CPN-UML said that all the people will be provided with citizens on the basis of descent within a month after the formation of government. Unveiling the manifesto for the elections to the House of Representatives and Province Assembly slated for November 20 on Tuesday, the UML said that the issues of citizenship will be resolved within six months and all the people will be provided with citizenship. It is mentioned in the commitment paper that the national identity card will be provided within a year.

The UML presented four resolutions—good governance, development, prosperity and equality.

The UML in its commitment paper said that there will be a massive increase in agricultural production. The party said that the garbage, a major problem of the Kathmandu Valley, will be managed in a scientific way.
