Police have arrested a man for secretly recording videos inside the rooms of a guest house. The suspect has been identified as Mukesh Mali (42) of Chandragiri-15, Kathmandu. He had been working as the manager at the Bansbari Restro and Café in Bansbari.

Police said that Mali was arrested as he was accused of secretly recording the obscene videos of the guests who had come to stay at the Restro Café and Lodge.

Acting on a tip-off, a team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Maharajgunj reached the lodge and took his mobile phone under control. When police checked the phone, they found recorded videos of the various people who had come to stay in the lodge. Police said that they have recovered an iPhone 12 Pro Max from Mali’s possession. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
