The Election Commission has written a letter to the Rautahat police to take action against CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Nepal for breaching the election code of conduct. Nepal, who is also a candidate from Rautahat constituency-1, had said in a program that he would send youths abroad if he wins the upcoming election which was against the election code of conduct. A news was published recently stating that Nepal has promised to provide job opportunities abroad if he wins the elections.

Based on the news, the poll body has directed the Rautahat police to take action against the former prime minister.
