The Election Commission has said that four organizations will come to Nepal to monitor the upcoming elections.
Among the four international organizations who had taken permission to monitor elections in Nepal, Russian organization Civic Chamber of Russian Federation is one of them.
According to the Election Commission, Asian Network for Free Elections, SAARC Human Rights Foundation and Support Initiative for Liberty and Democracy are the other organizations who have been permitted to monitor the elections slated for November 20.
This is the first time that a Russian organization is coming to Nepal to monitor the elections.
Earlier in 2017, the EC had barred the elections representatives from the European Union to monitor the elections for violating the code of conduct enforced by the poll body.
