The Nepali Congress has expelled rebel candidates, who have filed their nominations in the elections to House of Representatives and Province Assembly, for five years.
The party decided to expel the candidates, who have refused to withdraw their candidacies filed against the official candidates within the given time frame, their proposers and supporters for five years.
The NC made such a decision against the candidates who have filed their candidacies against the agreement made among the ruling coalition parties in the elections.
They have been expelled for five years as per Article 34 (4) (Ka) for violating Article 34 (1) (Gha) of the statute of the party.
