The ruling alliance has said that Mahendra Raya Yadav is its official candidate in Sarlahi-2. A meeting of the alliance held at Baluwatar on Wednesday decided on the official candidates for Sarlahi-2 and 2 (1 and 2) for the Province Assembly. Mahendra Raya Yadav has been nominated as the official candidate in Sarlahi-2 for the election to the House of Representative and Sunil Sah and Kaushal Raya Yadav in Sarlahi 2 (1) and 2 (2) for Province Assembly, read a statement.

Meanwhile, Rajendra Mahot is also contesting the election in the same constituency from the Democratic Socialist Party (DSP).
