Two laborers were electrocuted in Birgunj. The deceased have been identified as Saiphullah Ansari (30) of Hariharpur, Dhobini Rural Municipality-3, Parsa and Dhruba Prasad Sah (60) of Ranighat, Birgunj Metropolitan City-9. DSP Ramesh Basnet said that Ansari died when he came in contact with a live wire while working at the house of Ram Kishor Prasad Kurmi in Birgunj-26.

Similarly, Sah, who was critically injured after he got an electric shock while cleaning the roof of the house of Satrudhan Sarraff at Bus Park in Birgunj-8, was rushed to the Asharam Hospital but doctors pronounced him dead on arrival, DSP Basnet said.

He said that they are looking into both cases.
