Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane, accused of rape, will arrive in Nepal on Thursday. He will land at Tribhuvan International Airport at 10 am by Qatar Airlines.
He mentioned that he will surrender to the police from the airport. "As I promised, I am surrendering to the authorities today. I am landing in Kathmandu at 10 am by Qatar Airlines. I have informed the police in writing about surrendering," he wrote on his social media. He has promised to help the police at every step.
The Nepal Cricket Association suspended him from the captaincy after he was accused of extorting a minor. Sandeep, who reached the West Indies to play the CPL, had informed earlier that he was disturbed and was living in isolation.
