The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 57. 00 points to close at 1,924.48 points on Thursday.
Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 11. 23 points to close at 374. 13 points.
A total of 6,940,596 units of the shares of 232 companies were traded for Rs 2. 12 billion.
Meanwhile, Citizens Mutual Fund was the top gainer today with its price surging by 4. 12 percent. Likewise, NIC Asia Flexi CAP Fund was the top loser with its price dropped by 8, 00 percent.
At the end of the day, the total market capitalisation stood at Rs 2. 76 trillion.
