A man was found dead in Singhiya River in Biratnagar Municipality-8 on Saturday. DSP Deepak Shrestha of the District Police Office, Morang said that the identity of the deceased, who appeared to be in his mid-40s, is yet to be established. He said that the body has been sent to the Koshi Hospital for postmortem.

Locals informed the police after they saw the body in the river.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
