The Women and Social Committee of the Parliament has directed the government formulate a law to control human trafficking.
In the meeting held today, the Committee directed the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens to formulate the national law to curb the trafficking.
Likewise, the Committee also directed the government to formulate long-term and short-term policies to create a conducive environment for the people to work in the country.
The House panel also directed the government to use modern information system to control human trafficking and also to review the existing punishment given to those involved in the heinous crimes.
