The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 0. 36 points to close at 2,040.70 points on Wednesday. Similarly, the sensitive index surged by 0. 28 points to close at 394. 67 points. A total of 3,497,881 unit shares of 220 companies were traded for Rs 1. 40 billion.

Meanwhile, Swet-Ganga Hydropower and Construction Limited was the top gainer today with its price surging by 10 percent. Likewise, Samling Power Company Limited was the top loser with its price dropped by 5. 14 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 2. 93 trillion.
