Security personnel sent from land route to search for missing aircraft

A team of Nepal Army and Nepal Police has been sent from the land route to search for the missing Tara Air aircraft due to bad weather.

The Nepal Civil Aviation Authority said that the security personnel have been deployed from the land route to search for the aircraft which went out of contact from Ghorepani of Mustang on Sunday morning.

The plane had taken off for Jomsom from Pokhara at 9: 55 am.

There were 22 persons including three crew members on board the aircraft.

According to the Civil Aviation Office, Pokhara, there were two German nationals, four Indians and 13 Nepali nationals in the aircraft.
