The government has decided to bring social media under the purview of law and tax.

While presenting the policy and programs of the government at the Federal Parliament on Tuesday, President Bidya Devi Bhandari said that the social media will be brought under the of law from next year.

Similarly, the government has a policy to make Digital Media Network program effective.

In the policy and programs, the government has also decided to gradually reduce the use of paper in government offices.
