The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 23. 51 points to close at 2,250.91 points on Thursday, the last day of the trading week.
Similarly, the sensitive dropped by 3.88 points to close at 437.21 points.
A total of 3,798,263 units of the shares of 219 companies were traded for Rs 1.30 billion.
Meanwhile, General Insurance Company Nepal Ltd was the top gainer today with its price surging by 7.45 percent.
At the end of the day, the total market capitalisation stood at Rs 3. 20 trillion.
