Independent mayoral candidate Balen Shah is leading by 11, 073 votes in Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
He has secured 22, 842 votes while his closest contender Keshav Sthapit of CPN-UML garnered 11, 769 votes.
Similarly, Srijana Singh of Nepali Congress obtained 10, 986 votes.
