Senior advocate Bishnu Bhusal scales Mt Everest

Senior advocate Bishnu Bhusal stood atop Mount Everest, the world's highest mountain, on Monday.

Bhusal (62) said that he decided to climb the Everest to appeal the global community to reduce carbon emission.

He had left for the expedition on April 15 carrying a flag with the logo of Nepal Bar Association.

His slogan was, "Everest is melting, now let's stop carbon emissions."

Bhusal's daughter Preeti Bhusal had also successfully scaled Mount Everest a week ago.
