Police on Monday arrested two foreign nationals with around one kg gold from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
The detainees have been identified as Parasnath Shah from India and Mohammad Ullah from Bangladesh.
According to TIA Security Office Chief Senior Superintendent of Police Bhim Prasad Dhakal, the duo were arrested with around one kg gold.
They landed at TIA from Dubai on the Himalayan Airlines flight H9566.
The market value of the confiscated gold is around Rs 7.7 million.
They have been handed over to the TIA Customs Office, Gauchar for further investigation. RSS
