Kalash (Gha) is a traditional Newar ‘material culture’ that dates back at least to the Licchhavi period. LEARN TO PLAY SARANGI IN LALITPUR
Project Sarangi Center has opened registrations for Sarangi classes for its July intake. Located at the Arun Thapa Chowk in Sanepa, this music lesson and instruction school has been providing formal classes to promote the melody of the handmade Nepali Sarangis. The school also organizes various “Sarangi Bhela” musical nights for the purpose of awareness and recreation through the mesmerizing traditional music.
