The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 43. 89 points to close at 2, 513. 42 points on Monday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 6. 68 points to close at 444. 53 points.

A total of 9,322,185-unit shares of 347 companies were traded for Rs 1. 45 billion.

Meanwhile, Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ULBSL) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 13. 16 percent.

Likewise, Mailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (MKJC) was the top loser as their price fell by 14. 98 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 32 trillion.
