Bhotekoshi flood: PM Shah seeks updates from security chiefs

Prime Minister Balendra Shah today held a series of high-level discussions with the chiefs of various security agencies to tackle the challenges posed by the recent flooding of the Bhotekoshi river in Rasuwa. 

According to Dipa Dahal, the Prime Minister's Press and Research Adviser, PM Shah received a briefing from Chief of Army Staff, General Ashok Raj Sigdel, regarding the ongoing search, rescue, and relief efforts, as well as management strategies. 

Shah is currently being briefed by Inspector General of the Armed Police Force, Nepal, Narayan Dutta Poudel. A separate briefing with Inspector General of Nepal Police Dan Bahadur Karki is scheduled for later today.
