The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 19. 34 points to close at 2, 622. 48 points on Tuesday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 2. 55 points to close at 461. 09 points.

A total of 15,196,982-unit shares of 347 companies were traded for Rs 1. 52 billion.

Meanwhile, Sarvottam Paints Industries Limited (SAPIL) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 14. 99 percent.

Likewise,  Sagarmatha Jalabidhyut Company Limited (SMJC) was the top loser as their price fell by 10. 63 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 51 trillion.
