The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) surged by 8. 81 points to close at 2, 651. 21 points on Thursday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 0. 97 points to close at 464. 59 points.

A total of 10,225,874-unit shares of 347 companies were traded for Rs 1. 54 billion.

Meanwhile, Sarvottam Paints Industries Limited (SAPIL) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 15. 00 percent.

Likewise, 10.25% Prabhu Bank Debenture 2086 (PBLD86) was the top loser as their price fell by 12. 54 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 55 trillion.
