The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 30. 60 points to close at 2, 570. 18 points on Monday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 3. 04 points to close at 450. 55 points.

A total of  41,725,323-unit shares of 368 companies were traded for Rs 1. 49 billion.

Meanwhile, Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBSL) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 5. 37 percent.

Likewise, Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ULBSL) was the top loser as their price fell by 11. 28 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 41 trillion.
