A four-month-old child died after being buried by a landslide at Kyampol-1 in Kalinchok Rural Municipality, Dolakha on Sunday night.
The deceased has been identified as Alina Thami.
Ward-1 Chairman Padam Thami said that her 19-year-old mother Sharmila Thami was injured in the incident.
Chairperson Thami stated that locals rescued the injured and brought her to Dhulikhel Hospital, Dolakha, from where she was referred to Kathmandu for further treatment.
