The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 30. 09 points to close at 2, 621. 50 points on Wednesday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 3. 92 points to close at 456. 68 points.

A total of  8,463,015-unit shares of 362 companies were traded for Rs 1. 51 billion.

Meanwhile,  10% Citizens Bank Debenture 2090 (CIZBD90) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 8. 87 percent.

Likewise, Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL) was the top loser as their price fell by 13. 41 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 50 trillion.
