The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) surged by 0. 08 points to close at 2, 705. 53 points on Wednesday.  

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 0. 20 points to close at 464. 43 points.

A total of 8,375,471-unit shares of 352 companies were traded for Rs 1. 55 billion.

Meanwhile, Sopan Pharmaceuticals Limited (SOPL) and Appolo Hydropower Limited (APHL) were the top gainers today with their price surging by 14. 99 percent.

Similarly, NMB Debenture 10.75%-2089/90 (NMBD89/90) was the top loser as its price fell by 8. 64 points.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 62 trillion.
