The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 6. 31 points to close at 2, 705. 45 points on Tuesday.  

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 1. 48 points to close at 464. 64 points.

A total of  10,708,596-unit shares of 355 companies were traded for Rs 1. 55 billion.

Meanwhile, Sopan Pharmaceuticals Limited (SOPL) was ​​​​​​​the top gainer today with its price surging by 15. 00 percent.

Likewise, Sayapatri Hydropower Limited (SPHL) was the top loser as their price fell by 4. 90 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 62 trillion.
