The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 12. 26 points to close at 2, 711. 76 points on Monday.  

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 0. 96 points to close at 466. 13 points.

A total of 10,739,998-unit shares of 350 companies were traded for Rs 1. 55 billion.

Meanwhile, Sopan Pharmaceuticals Limited (SOPL) and Appolo Hydropower Limited (APHL) were the top gainers today with their price surging by 14. 99 percent.

Likewise, Green Development Bank Ltd. (GRDBL) was the top loser as their price fell by 7. 94 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 63 trillion.
