Ruling coalition meeting in Baluwatar to finalize seat allocation

The meeting of the top leaders of five-party ruling alliance has started in Baluwatar to discuss the distribution of constituencies for the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly elections.

It is believed that the meeting will discuss and finalize the report sent by the five-party working group. Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) president Upendra Yadav informed that the meeting has started today as well, continuing the daily meeting for the distribution of constituencies.

The candidate registration schedule has been fixed for the elections of the House of Representatives and the Provincial Assembly on Sunday, October 9. Before that, the alliance should divide the constituencies and the parties should nominate candidates.

Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal, Janata Samajwadi Party Chairman Upendra Yadav, Rastriya Janamorcha Party Vice-chairman Durga Paudel and other top leaders are in the meeting.
