The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 17. 68 points to close at 2,106.15 points on Monday.
Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 3. 44 points to close at 406. 11 points.
A total of 6,527,414 units of the shares of 214 companies were traded for Rs 2. 85 billion.
Meanwhile, Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Himalayan Hydropower Limited were the top gainers today with their price surging by 10 percent. Likewise, Janaki Finance Company Limited was the top loser with its price dropped by 7. 18 percent.
At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 3. 00 trillion.
