National health laboratory lab technician nabbed with Rs 50, 000 bribe

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Friday arrested a lab technician of the National Public Health Laboratory, Teku, Kathmandu for taking bribe.
A team deployed from the CIAA, Tangal apprehended Lekhanath Bhattarai with Rs 50, 000 bribe money from Sankhamul this morning.
He is accused of taking a bribe of Rs 50, 000 from a service seeker to facilitate the lab registration process.
Further investigation into the case is underway, the CIAA said.
