Local polls: Maoist Centre emerges victorious in 16 wards, NC 10 and UML 5

The CPN (Maoist Centre) emerged victorious in 16 wards of Sindhuli

The CPN (Maoist Centre) emerged victorious in 16 wards of Sindhuli.

Out of 79 wards, vote counting had been completed in 31 wards.

Nepali Congress has won in 10 wards while CPN-UML in five.

The Maoist Centre emerged victorious in Marin Rural Municipality 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, Golenjor 1, Fikkal 1, Ghyaglekh 1 and 5, Dhudhauli Municipality 12, 13 and 14.

Similarly, the party has emerged victorious in Kamalamai Municipality 2 and Hariharpurgadhi Rural Municipality 3 and 6.

The Maoist Centre had faced defeat in the wards except Marin and Golanjor in the last local level elections.

Likewise, Nepali Congress has won in Kamalamai 1, Tinpatan Rural Municipality 2, 10 and 11, Hariharpurgadh 2 and Golanjor 2. 

Similarly, th party has also emerged victorious in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality 1, Dhudhauli Municipality 1 and 3.

The CPN-UML has emerged victorious in Hariharpurgadh 1, Tinpatan 1 and Kamalamai Municipality 3, Marin Rural Municipality 4 and Dhudhauli Municipality 2.
