An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale jolted Bajhang district in Sudurpaschim Province at 4: 06 am on Wednesday.
According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre, Lainchaur, the epicenter of the quake was around Daulichaur of Bajhang.
Of late, earthquakes have become a recurring phenomenon in the eastern and western areas of Nepal.
Nepal’s hilly and mountainous regions are considered earthquake vulnerable areas.
